Single point of call

Single point of call

A new Customer Services team has been created by Adullam Homes, helping ensure that anyone contacting the organisation will get a quick and efficient answer.

A dedicated three-person team has been put in place and a single telephone number introduced that can be used for all queries – housing, rent, repairs and payment.

Hundreds of letters have been sent to Adullam tenants, advising them of the change and suggesting they save the new one-stop number in their mobiles, so they have it to hand whenever needed.

The new number is 0121 2710789 and will be manned 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 4pm on Fridays. There is an emergency number for tenants to use in an emergency at all other times.

Based at Adullam’s head office in West Bromwich, the team is headed by Claire Sabin and has created two new jobs.

Commenting on its introduction, Adullam’s Executive Director of Housing and Support Ged Riley said: “Having a team in place that can deal with enquiries quickly and efficiently is a huge asset. In the past people have, for example, called the repairs number to pay rent, and the rent number to enquire about housing. It’s frustrating for them and time-consuming for our teams.

“The new team can deal with all calls. This will improve the customer experience immensely, helping anyone contacting us to get the answers and information they need without being passed from number to number.”

Adullam Homes is a Housing Association created to support vulnerable individuals and households. It provides quality housing, delivers tailored support plans, training, education, and employment opportunities to help people achieve stable lives and realise their full potential in locations including the East and West Midlands, East Cheshire, Greater Manchester, North Wales, the North West and South Yorkshire.
