Coronavirus – Adullam’s actions

The coronavirus pandemic has created unprecedented uncertainty for everyone around the world.

For Adullam Homes Housing Association, the most important thing is the health, safety and wellbeing of our service users, our staff and our communities.

To help safeguard and support everyone who works for us we have researched, written and adopted a Coronavirus Policy which details expectations and requirements to ensure the continuity of our work.

We’re following Government and NHS advice, with those of our staff who can, working from home and using online technology to continue meetings.

A frequently asked questions sheet has been created to ensure managers throughout our operation provide accurate and consistent answers about preventing, identifying and dealing with the virus.

We are very aware that Coronavirus is likely to have an effect on the ability of some of our residents to pay their rent and service charges and we have plans in place to help them deal with this and our frontline staff to advise them accordingly.

In the coming days we are taking other actions that can all play a part in reducing spread of the virus, including making it possible for service users to pay online or via an app rather than with cash.

We will add updates and advice to our website and our social media platforms when appropriate, so please keep an eye on those. Our phones are extra busy and our staffing levels reduced, so please only telephone if it’s vital.
