Adullam awards launched

A completely new set of awards, designed to celebrate the successes and achievements of tenants, residents and service users, has been launched by Adullam.

With the title the Adullam Excellence and Inclusion Awards, they are an important part of Adullam’s Coproduction Action Plan, bringing staff and all those for whom services are provided together.

The awards are divided into three sets, one for Adullam’s North West and Wales projects, one for our Northeast & Midlands projects, and one for our young people’s Ofsted projects.

Staff and clients are all invited to nominate candidates for the awards, which include a Tenant Voice category, aimed at recognising involvement by a tenant, resident or service user in the project that supports them. The involvement might be on a single occasion, such as helping to deliver a specific event, or on an ongoing basis, such as helping each week with a coffee morning.

Other awards include the Culture Champion Award, with a focus on attitude which will reward someone who makes an effort to make sure the atmosphere in their project is positive and caring, and the  Sanctuary Award, aimed at rewarding the individual or team that has helped change the feeling/setting of their project, such as by helping to create psychologically informed environments.

Award presentation events are due to take place in November, with the first in Bolton on November 5.

Adullam’s Assistant Director of Quality & Assurance Dave Moore who has led on the awards initiative said: “We are very much looking forward to seeing the nominations come in and to eventually sharing the stories of the very many positive achievements that they realise.

“We also look forward to seeing our very valuable partners and stakeholders at the award events which will include inspirational guest speakers and opportunities to network, as well as the presentation of the trophies.”
