Housing Association re-secures Governance award

Adullam Homes, a housing charity helping those facing homelessness and unemployment has been re-awarded with a Governance Assessment Process (GAP) award.

The housing association which supports those facing vulnerability through accommodation and educational training, impressed The Governance Forum with its excellent strategic and effective governance processes. The Association’s Board of Management and Directors were delighted with the award which acknowledges their active role in ensuring good governance.

The Governance Forum (TGF) works amongst the voluntary and community sector to ensure the Board and Senior Leadership Team have the right skills and experience to set strategic direction for the organisation.

Trevor Palfreyman, Chief Exective of Adullam Homes said: “We are all delighted to receive this award again which recognises Adullam Homes leading the way in good governance, which is vital to the services we deliver and maintains confidence in what we do.”

The award which was received in October 2016 showcases the great work that the Board of Management and Directors do while highlighting opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.
