Adullam works in the community with vulnerable and excluded people from a diverse range of backgrounds providing support through a variety of high quality housing, support and advice services.
To assist residents and service users we provide tailored support programmes, based on an individuals’ need, which enables residents to improve their quality of life and live independently.
The Association is a not for profit organisation; all surpluses generated are reinvested into key areas of our work.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Volunteer Co-ordinator within our Tameside Project which provides a service for homeless people at risk of social exclusion and will involve a new model of service delivery.  The service, Unlocking Potential, aims to deliver a flexible and innovative approach to reduce and prevent homelessness in Tameside focusing on recovery capital and skills based approaches rather than traditional support methods.
The Volunteer Co-ordinator will promote and coordinate the volunteering process within the Tameside Project, providing opportunities for individuals to develop their skills and capabilities and to enhance service delivery in line with contractual obligations.
The key knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this role are:

• Knowledge and experience of other relevant agencies working with volunteers in Tameside.
• Experience of recruiting and supervising volunteers.
• The ability to develop a team of motivated and committed volunteers to work across Tameside.
• The ability to develop and implement creative solutions when faced with problems and difficulties
• Plans and prioritises effectively. Good time management and organisational skills
• Uses Information Technology to self-administer and for effective communication
• Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing
• Builds and maintains good working relationships.
