Adullam works in the community with vulnerable and excluded people from a diverse range of backgrounds providing support through a variety of high quality housing, support and advice services.
To assist residents and service users we provide tailored support programmes, based on an individuals’ need, which enables residents to improve their quality of life and live independently.
The Association is a not for profit organisation; all surpluses generated are reinvested into key areas of our work.
We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Voids & Maintenance Operative within our Asset Management department, based in Bury.
The purpose of this role is to carry out an efficient and “quick turnaround“ void programme; to carry out minor repairs and decorations to void properties and to carry out other repairs to Adullam owned properties where required. The post will cover properties in Greater Manchester and Cheshire.

Some of the key knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this role are:
• At least 2 years’ experience within a housing maintenance capacity, or ex tradesman.
• Experience of working with contractors and repairs
• Ability to plan and prioritise effectively. Good time management and organisational skills
• Awareness of Health and Safety legislation
• Flexible, approachable, positive and enthusiastic

You will also require a full, clean driving licence.
