Adullam works in the community with vulnerable and excluded people from a diverse range of backgrounds providing support through a variety of high quality housing, support and advice services.
To assist residents and service users we provide tailored support programmes, based on an individuals’ need, which enables residents to improve their quality of life and live independently.
The Association is a not for profit organisation; all surpluses generated are reinvested into key areas of our work.

We have an exciting opportunity for Life Skills Coaches within our newly commissioned service which is at the heart of Bolton’s locality plan. Building on the strengths of individuals, families, partner agencies and communities Adullam aims to deliver a flexible and innovative asset based approach to reduce and prevent homelessness in Bolton improving outcomes for all.

Some of the key knowledge, skills and behaviours required for this role are:
• Awareness of mental illness, diagnosis and associated medication
• A knowledge of, substance misuse, offending behaviour and homelessness relating to mental health; welfare benefits, housing options, other mental health service and safeguarding procedures in Bolton & how to apply them.
• Ability to provide outcome focussed support
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Develop effective relationships with customers, partners and colleagues
• Advocate for customers/achieving results aligned to our values
• Remain calm when faced with challenging behaviours.
• Be self-motivating, work under pressure and manage time effectively, prioritising work, according to need
